They are fascinating subjects. I've pics of doubles several times, also, 2 different kinds in same pic. They really like Flowering tobacco, lilies, moonflowers, Ipomopsis, Pentas, and once, Magic Lilies. They definitely show little fear of dusk- time explorers. My favorite memory was one evening there were several sampling Flowering tobacco and one flew so close I felt the flutter of its wings on my cheek. My favorite pic (besides avatar) is one where the moth is stationary in mid air, canted at a 45 degree angle w/ it's lengthy proboscis inside a Flowering tobacco plant.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
