Gee, didn't noticed your avatar.. ya think you like the banner?

I have a couple of others along the same lines.

The thread "Agastache Cana & a visitor" in Agastache and Salvias forum

But I guess they weren't approved?

They are fascinating subjects. I've pics of doubles several times, also, 2 different kinds in same pic. They really like Flowering tobacco, lilies, moonflowers, Ipomopsis, Pentas, and once, Magic Lilies. They definitely show little fear of dusk- time explorers. My favorite memory was one evening there were several sampling Flowering tobacco and one flew so close I felt the flutter of its wings on my cheek. My favorite pic (besides avatar) is one where the moth is stationary in mid air, canted at a 45 degree angle w/ it's lengthy proboscis inside a Flowering tobacco plant.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.

Excellent shot, Toni! I've only seen one hummingbird moth in person, so it's nice to enjoy a great photo of one.

Hi Skiekitty,

That is a poster waiting to happen. If it is clear enough and cropped it will make a nice 6ft by 2ft board for student walls, or on a block for house designers.

It is beautiful, I have some photos of a hummingbird moth, but not like that.

Go you,

Peter
