I agree, Tiffany…It's not right that we don't see these guys anymore. It scares me, because their presence, or lack thereof, is to my mind a barometer of the environmental health of an area. I have heard that the Cuban Tree frog has come into Florida, and apparently have migrated into the northern part of the state as well, though I've not witnessed them personally. These invaders are known to eat our natives…Not just our toads and frogs, but also snakes and lizards. Quite depressing! You can read more about them here, if you're interested.
