I agree, Tiffany…It's not right that we don't see these guys anymore. It scares me, because their presence, or lack thereof, is to my mind a barometer of the environmental health of an area. I have heard that the Cuban Tree frog has come into Florida, and apparently have migrated into the northern part of the state as well, though I've not witnessed them personally. These invaders are known to eat our natives…Not just our toads and frogs, but also snakes and lizards. Quite depressing! Just breaks my heart to think that this may be the reason that we've not seen our little beauties in a long while now! Crying
