I just went to the Sigma Aldrich website and there really isn't any hoops. When you order online (I would imagine the same goes for calling them to order) for the first time they ask about your organization (type), what your job is there, primary business activities, how you will use their products, and of course your name, address, etc. Then they review the info and if you don't pass the review they may call and ask you more question. It's a lot less than I thought they would ask
