We had some high winds on Sunday that completely flattened a garden trellis with two mature vines. One is a honeysuckle and the other is a jasmine.

I think I will end up cutting both vines back drastically while rebuilding the arbor, and that won't happen until the ground thaws out this spring. I have temporarily just propped up the arbor and tied it to the fence. I know the honeysuckle will recover, but am a bit concerned about the jasmine. On the other hand, I was not overly fond of how the two interplayed with one another, so may try to relocate the jasmine (it has also been more problematic with bugs/disease). Has anyone moved a mature jasmine? Any pointers?
Also, any suggestion of another vine to plant opposite the honeysuckle? This arbor is about 4' wide with a gate between that leads into my herb garden. The gate is also pretty much toast so the whole thing will be a re-do.
