I would rather have DFs but I won't NOT buy from a seller just because they are SFs. Some of the sellers sell SFs because they don't have a lot of increase and may not have many to sell plus it gives the buyers who may be on a tight budget access to more daylilies if they sell as SFs and are more in their price range.

The "newer" ones are almost always sold as SFs with the exception of a few that sell them as DFs but usually the end selling price is way up their on most and a lot of people just can't afford them.

I agree

I have also found that often those listing single fans are doing so because they were lined out that way. You may get more than a single fan but if they are slow to increase, or the weather does not cooperate, you may not. I have only purchased from one seller who listed a single fan and every one was exactly that. They were large and healthy and exactly what I purchased so I was not upset.
