I'm always glad to help. I was just too pooped to get online last night! My reading/posting may be falling behind, but at least I'm sleeping well. Hilarious!

Worked another four hours this morning. The progress is satisfying, but it's draining to work in this heat. Have to make some time today to do some laundry and hit the grocery store. I'm going through water and Gatorade like crazy!

#1 is likely an ash seedling. Oval, entire, opposite leaves, in groups of 7 leaflets.

For #2, it's hard to tell without a branch/leaf closeup. I think I detect slightly serrated leaf edges, but can't tell if the arrangement is alternate or opposite.
