I make enough seeds that I can sell on the auction, but when I can get the genetics from plants that I don't have I will buy some seeds also.
I especially like finding "fancy southern bred to northern or proven hardy" crosses as it probably gives me the best chance of getting genetics that I normally wouldn't of been able to get.
I also like to buy seeds from the newer $100/$200 types because it is the cheapest way to get a head start, and unless I win the lottery which I don't play, it will only way until the price comes down

This one was from back in the day Hurricane Swirls was hot, seedling does real well up here
Double dose of Angels Smile 'hard dormant' was what sold me
A-2-A {[(Angels Smile x unknown) x (Tomorrow's Dream x Angels Smile)] X (Debussy x Hurricane Swirls)}
