Mary, I toyed with the idea of going on to the store this afternoon after seeing your weather revelation. That would mean leaving here. My plan had been to stay home from Tuesday through today, setting a new record of consecutive days not leaving home. I decided that I would rather stay home. I may go to the grocery store in the A.M. before Sunday school to avoid the after church crowd. After seeing your post, I brought in the rest of the firewood that is up here at the house. We already had lots of wood inside, but I have been burning a lot the past few days. (We heat with a wood heater, such warm heat!) Then I put out the remaining 6 bales of pine straw (frozen, of course) that were left from this past spring. I had not put any mulch on the daylilies planted in the fall. Forecasted single digit temperatures call for a cover for them, too.
