Hostas Garden Ideas: Master Level
I am a collector and I develop sports. I have bought a lot from QandZ, a wholesaler.
I grow the hostas for one or two years before I sell any. The very expensive ones I sell to those who know that the are rare and expensive. For example, Royal Mouse Ears.

I have a large display garden (shade to partial sun) covering almost half an acre. In late May I put up signs that I have potted hostas for sale, and people show up to buy. The signs usually come down mid June, but last summer I left it up until mid July, and even more people showed up. Many have been buying from me for about ten years.
I sold about 300 pots, $7 to $9 each.

I have never bought pots because people drop them off at my place, sometimes 40 or 50 at a time.

I start to decide on what has done well over the winter, and those are listed for sale. I usually have over 50 cultivars for sale.

As soon as I transfer my list, I will send you a copy.

For friends I charge $5, and I would do the same for ATP members.
