Thats a good piece of advise. I have Chicaco Firecracker thats 3 years old and hasnt bloomed yet.
This year is the test. No bloom this year - -out it goes.
I must confess I dont pay a lot for my DL's usually get them on sale. I do have a $50.00 one ,given to me I think its beautiful.
I have average standards where most plants are concerned.
I admire the passion for certain varieties some DG ers have and always get good advise when I read what they post.
