dave said:It would indeed by frightly difficult, but it's something that I may consider doing. The only real downside to that is that when you increase complexity of a system, you inevitably confuse some people. It's an unfortunate fact of software development. I intentionally made the search completely featureless for this reason: so people can just type in what they are looking for and the system will find it.

@Dave, aka the power that be ---- Green Grin! ever since I found you, I have been asking what everyone on this thread is discussing.

It would be so nice to implement something to facilitate search by latin names. Too many times I have attempted to
locate an item, receiving notification that it "is embarrassing, but the system cannot find" something. But it is indeed there, somewhere.... and if I piddle around long enough it will turn up, but it takes awhile !

Now I have more time than money Smiling but I really don't wanna die trying to find something in plain sight !
Please help.

There is a site you used to program which allows to search by common name or Latin name, could we get something ike that, but which would permit is to select a default choice ?

Pleeze, pleeeeeeze, puhleeze ????? (where is that wining emoticon again ????)

I'll even pay you hard-earned acorns or pecans or chocolate I tip my hat to you. Green Grin! nodding Big Grin
