Thanks for the references Lori. Posting a comment about a photograph is a good way to draw attention to a potentially misidentified photograph. My personal preference is to post here in the Plant ID forum as many members haunt these precincts. If a positive species ID can't be made we have a genus level entry for Catchfly (Silene) to which the photograph can be moved, if appropriate.
