I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Plant Identifier
Just read yesterday that the caramel coloring in pancake syrup and sodas has been proven to cause cancer in mice. Sounds fun.

I don't know that there is a problem with using roundup or GMO on flowers. But the question is, what if you use those products for years and then decide to plant vegetables in your garden spot? What happens to the water run-off after contact with those products over a period of time? And what are those products doing to insects, birds and other wildlife long term? As far as I know there have been no studies to answer any of those questions. The even bigger question is, suppose down the road there IS a problem, what is the plan to FIX it? There isn't one.
