Not that that hasn't happened here before!!!!
But I have a vague memory of it from last year.

One year I was so confused ALL WINTER about these daisy-ish leaves that stayed green all winter and couldn't remember what on earth. They were in POTS for heaven's sake! I watched them all spring and when they finally flowered, they were weeds! Apparently there had been seeds in something else I had in pots and they produced these weeds in the pot.......

Mind you, I am on a low fixed income and I adopt plants from wherever I can, including picking up some that were set out for trash..... I don't know where I got those pots, but there they were.

Even this spring, I let the garlic mustard sprouts get big enough that I could be SURE that's what they were. And I pull and EAT them, I do! More nutritious than kale - and better tasting, too!
SHOW ME YOUR CRITTERS! I have a critter page over at Cubits. http://cubits.org/crittergarde...
