Just want to add to the Roundup conversation that DDT has been banned in 1972 and it still shows up in local river water tests.
It is not like we can use this stuff and it just goes away when we don't use it anymore.

I'm having 2nd thoughts about even using Milorganite since it comes from sewer sludge and so many people are taking prescription drugs, etc. and that will probably also be in the fertilizer. I probably will avoid it in the future.

During thunderstorms, rainwater enhanced by lightning, provides a 4% nitrogen boost. Maybe why plants looks so happy after a thunderstorm.
Hair is another good fertilizer. All the swept up dog hair side dresses the plants.
Coffee grounds are also super; plus, I just read an article where a solution made from used coffee grounds can help control scale that is killing sego palms.
