Are the red blooms really only 2 1/2 inches? They look so much bigger in the pic. They have the right type of foliage for a species, but some Louisiana look like that too. I have some of both, but they are both in mostly sun locations. And unlike the bearded, they like to be in a good moist soil with mulch overlay. Keep them watered. Need to see the blooms better to really identify them but I would go only partial shade.
