Thanks Lin for the link to that interesting article, but I doubt it could be Philodendron xanadu, the size of that plant is up to 4 ft ( 1.20m), (according to our database). The plant in Rio was really huge. The leaves of Philodendron xanadu also look more flat and much more deeply cut especially with the mature plant in the link, they do perfectly match though with Philodendron bipinnatifidum.
I see what you mean with the red coloured spathe of P. xanadu but that is on the outside, the red on mine is on the inside of the spathe, the outside is green .. so I think we better stay with Philodendron bipinnatifidum.. Smiling
