As my alliums assume garden promise they've mostly been blooming under overcast skies; but, I still appreciate their geometrical solidity. Finest filler for the past spring bulbs demise into the forthcoming lily season.

Alliums have been a staple in this garden for at lest a decade. There's some closer to the ground cultivars about to present themselves. Could be A.christophil, or A. schubertii (my favorite , a veritable spaceship in appearance; but reservations persist as to it ability to overwinter this past winter's severity. A. caeruleum may yet present as well as may the legendary tall cultivar Summer Drummer.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
