It lived for two years in the ground…. I was reading through Farmers Almanac last Winter that it would be cold and wet, so I took a couple of cuttings and am glad I did. The stem succumbed to the horrible weather. Down there in the "Tropics" though it should do fine. I plan on planting one again next Spring 2015. Hopefully it will be 20+ yrs. again, till we have another Winter like this past.
