How is it that I have missed this thread? I love seeing bird pictures! I also love sharing bird pictures! All of you have posted fantastic photos, and I thank you for sharing them! It's very exciting to see pictures of birds that I've never seen in person.

Here is my new one from today, which I had never seen before. It's a Western Kingbird.

Got a picture of a pretty turkey from my family room window a while back. We have lots of turkeys here. Sorry this isn't from this month, but it's the closest I've been to one to get a good picture, so I decided to share it.

I've had about 5 or 6 Lazuli Buntings eating seed here for the past couple of weeks. I love them!

I'm not sure if these are Goldfinch, or Lesser Goldfinch. This was taken a couple of months ago, but until a week ago, they were still swarming the thistle sock. Looks like they headed somewhere else to have babies, since I've only seen 3 or 4 a day since then.

I need to get some pictures of the Tree Swallows, but I think it would easier to take a video of them. They don't sit still very long. They seem to have almost no fear of me, which is fun! We put up 7 houses for them, and we're hoping that they will keep the wasp population in check this year. So far, they are doing a good job. We also have Bluebirds that are nesting here, along with a Robin who built her nest in the tree outside my office window.
