'Clara Noyes' was in Sandy MacPherson's catalog in 1964 and may have been one named by him. It was always unclear which ones he named and which ones were named by Sanford and just cataloged by Sandy. He never put his name after the hybrids in his list (in fact there were NO descriptions even!!) although we know 'Rita Jane' and 'Laura Lee' were named for family members and of course 'Oddity' occurred as a sport in his garden.
