Can't speak for other parts of the country, but down here in AHS Region 6 (TX, NM), it seems that all daylily clubs have (at least) one sale per year (typically in early spring or fall - best planting times for bare root fans here), but it doesn't seem common for there to be a sale at the show (if they hold a show). So, I'd make contact with the club/organization that's sponsoring a show before definitely assuming there would be plants for sale there.
