There are some really good links in this thread for color charts, all are now saved to refer back to when I need to mark color in my records for seedlings this summer. Thanks seed!

I noticed "vigor" has been added to the registration form although I couldn't seem to find an explanation for it. With check boxes ranging from very fast to very slow I would guess it refers to increase. Shrug! Vigor to me leans more towards the health, an ability to grow well not just a rate of increase...I have some daylilies that are extremely vigorous, healthy, good growers and they can vary a lot in their amount of increase. Vigor and fertility, another one fairly new to the registration form, are not required to be filled out. There are other things you may want to note if you intend on introducing your new registration to help with your write up description, sunfast, how it opens in cool weather, if it opens early in the morning, if the pattern is consistent, substance, texture...anything you can note that makes your seedling special and a good garden plant.
