Mine were done blooming before the 100 degree weather hit, so I'm not sure if they were just done with normal season for them, or if approaching heat switched them off. And, I also think it is better to have general, conflicting, even changing information than none at all, so I hope others do mention cultivars that they define and experience as "invasive."

This summer I will be watching all fans, including seedlings, for how they handle heat dormancy. I've got over 20 scapes up but wonder how many, if any, I will actually see now that temps are ranging so high. Already, my two most prolific blooming cultivars have closed up shop for the time being - large buds seemingly frozen (or baked) in time... Whistling
