I don't consider them to be invasive here if they stay in a clump, it's the ones that pop up two or three feet away from the main plant that I consider invasive. I planted some in my rose bed not knowing at the time what they were, they grew to about four feet and started popping up away from the spot they were planted in, I panicked and over reacted as I often do with such plants. I immediately dug them all up(out of the rose bed) and gave them away. I believe they were 'Flore Pleno'. I still have a lot of them (they look alike in most ways) but some have smaller blooms than others, some stay shorter, and only a few I have now get so tall as the ones in the Rose bed. Some have noticeably more yellow in the outer petals than others so I am not certain they are all the same. I also think I have some 'Kwanso', they only have the double set of petals, not triple, and they are smaller blooms. It seems the Flore Pleno forms the classic fan shape for a daylily, and my Kwanso just sprawl. My 'Crimson Pirate' seems to multiply like a rabbit, but so far it has stayed in a clump formation so I don't worry about it so far. 'My Path' also seems to multiply very fast, but it is forming a huge clump and for now I am liking that, always wanted some of those huge clumps and this is my first one, it is just getting ready to bloom.
