A few will send out a fan or two slightly away from the clump sometimes. I just dig it up and either plant it closer or dig it during bloom time when there are garden visitors and give it to someone. One that seems to send fans out more often than others is Black Falcon Ritual. I took an image of a small clump a few weeks ago when I moved it showing the traveling fan.
