Bob,
What season was your pic taken? i uploaded it to my comp so i could inlarge the pics,but that didn't help any. but it looks like the stolons are too close to the mother plant. All the stolons w/chicks on my plants look a lot longer. the chick itself is a couple inches away from the tips of the leaves of the hen and they always start out green on light pink stems., w/a little red in the winter. just measured mine today and the largest 1 is 5 1/2". now.. ( And i do grow some very large semps, There is a 8" 1yr Silver King starting to bloom about a foot away in another pot)
I have to agree w/Kevin you might have another variety.

this is a pic of a 1yr plant in a 4" pot the length of the stolons show pretty well.
