I think your observation is pretty accurate Greg. The arach/arach crosses do seem more prone to blooming. I lost almost all of the very generous colony of Hookerii. The entire tiny colony went to bloom right after I planted it. I did the surgery that twit taught me and did manage to save a few offsets from the altered rosettes.
