I know trimming grapes in summer stimulates growth--but is that just more shoots or more clusters, too? I need to do it soon.

Also, I'm thinking to try a vinegar/baking soda mixture to prevent black rot from spreading. It works very well for my roses and black spot. Anyone ever tried this?
