I was thankful too for the things that survived but I lost several trees last winter which was very disappointing. I must be a little further North than you as I'm in zone 3 and you're zone 4. Oh yes - can't get across the river because two of the three bridges in the western metro area are flooded, and the rivers are still rising, also more rain predicted. Maybe I should start building a big boat?
