Thanks Vic. I am not a teacher in the traditional sense but I am a Nuclear Plant Simulator Instructor . I train and qualify nuclear reactor plant operators. I've been at it almost 4 decades now. Since I submitted this I have a later progress report. I took these photos minutes ago. This is 2 days shy of 4 weeks since planting. Good growth and that is a photo of my very first Gloriosa flower that just opened this morning.

The vines are loaded with buds and I'd say within the next 2 weeks or so the display will be excellent. Thank you all for the kind comments and the acorns. You guys are magnificent. Thumbs up
