That was the whole purpose of making it roundup resistant. It is so they can spray roundup right on the crops and kill the weeds to produce a pure product.
I also read that the main ingredient in roundup causes miscarriages in farm animals. They are the ones who get most of the GMO's. I think it is a shame.

My daylilies are were acting funny since I started adding it so I will not use any more. I mostly use Milorganite for the Hostas. Great success with that, especially since it keeps the cats and rabbits out of the garden. I do not have a dog, if I did it would be a different story.
