Cinta, I can't wait to see it all filled in. Hurray!

Lynn I am using the plastic nursery trays as backing for the picture. It has the holes to attach the form that I am using to plant in (stockings, since I am not working anymore I found a use for those stockings) LOL. Since it is going to be outside I cannot use wood for the frame. I have cheap plastic molding that I am going to Hot Glue around the picture. If you have seen those cheap mirrors that have brown plastic molding around them you know what I am using. It looks like wood but it is plastic.

Because I wanted the planting mixture to have good drainage and lightweight I did nt use my usual gravel. I used pine needles mixed with potting soil. Stuffed the stockings and arranged the stockings into the shape I wanted for the picture.

Thank you Kate it has been fun. It will be a good conversation piece on the patio walls. It will be so much fun to look at something other than brick walls. What I really like is it will be some decor on the patio in the winter because once the plants are brought in for the winter I can still look out and see something on the walls from the great room window.
