I email my pics to my yahoo or msn mail. Then if my computer crashes, my important forever photos are in email. I never use the email given by my internet provider. If you change providers, you lose the email address.
Also, it may be wise to get a wireless laser printer. The newer devices, like smart phones can print to it from anywhere. Laser, as opposed to ink jet, doesn't run and get ruined by moisture. The toner cartilages are much more expensive but last longer than than the extra expense over ink cartridges. One eliminates photo processing.
When I change out my archaic equipment for less archaic equipment, that is what I am going to do. I also use color printing for my business though. I am looking forward to making my own mailers that don't run if they get water or coffee splashed on them when they sit on someones desk.
