Ok thanks for all the help you have all given. Please remember that its easy for you all to understand and Im just starting out.
So when the picture of the daylily is shown there is not much chance that the seed will grow to be looking exactly like is shows. Or that it could be close. Ive grown Hot peppers in the past and some varieties can be grown close to others while other cant. Some I had to keep some plants at work or on neighbors yards or in-laws just to keep the seed Im growing "true". Understand that its going to be hard to change my mindset from the quest to have "true" seeds to the random - or controlled randomness of daylilies. I guess I was confused by the showing of the bloom and then reading about the seed not being true.
Thanks all, I think I understand it a little bit better now. yea just a little bit
