No, it won't. The only way to get an exact replica of a daylily is to divide it or by a proliferation (if it makes them.). Self-crossing may give you seedlings that look similar to either parent plant, but they may also look like any of the plants in the entire lineage of either parent. It just depends on how the chromosomes line up in each seed as to which characteristics show in each bloom. All daylily seeds are hybrids.
