Not unless you spray it on them. I usually do it early in the morn or in the evening ---- otherwise our sun is just too strong & will fry the plants. If you just kind of shake the plants or brush your hand to wiggle them, the pollinators will leave. Then you can spray, wait 10 minutes & rinse. You could harm pollinators if you spray it on them. Alcohol alone will kill wasps in places you don't want soap, such as your house (you know, when the occasional wasp gets inside). Outside, if wasps build nests in really inconvenient places, like right next to your door, you can mix up the dish detergent (Palmolive, Dawn, whatever), alcohol & water & put it in a garden pump sprayer, wait till disk when all the wasps are home & then go spray the nest. Knocks them right down. Then knock the nest itself down.
