Cindi, I don't know what the auction prices were at the Tim Bell meeting you and your husband went to, but we had him as our guest speaker in March. He cut the auction prices off at very affordable prices instead of letting them go much higher. We have seen him do that before. He said that he would rather a daylily (new intro or very recent intro) sell for $30 and go home with someone who would not otherwise be able to afford the daylily. You don't see this happening often. Tim is a good person. If a club has the opportunity to get Tim as a speaker, I encourage them to do so. Tim puts on a great program and will bring daylilies to auction.
