I transferred the powders into a screw-cap medicine bottles, feeling like the character in Silkwood transferring Plutonium.

After tapping the funnel, a few grains of Bhut were left. I touched a finger to those, got about three grains, barely visible, and touched that to my tongue. Fun, exciting, only slightly painful.

Then I got brave. The glass of Scotch might have helped.

When I transferred the Scorpion Mix, more fine powder was left behind despite tapping. Silly Rick - "I can take it!" I thought. So I wiped up the very fine powder with a finger tip. I must have gotten MUCH more of the Scorpion than I did of the Bhut. Duhh! Of course, the Scorpion is also twice as hot as the Bhut. Double-DUHH!

I'm glad I went that far at least once, and the pain does disappear after 5-10 minutes. I ate yogurt the whole time and kept reminding myself of what Tom said: there is no tissue damage.

Even though I'm a total wimp, it was a lot of fun and now I know "how much is too much".

P.S. Scotch and probably any alcohol makes it much worse!
P.P.S. Once The Burn had commenced, just touching my tongue to the roof of my mouth made it hurt worse. I think I'm glad I was alone except for my cat: Becky would have laughed and laughed.
