Audrey..that's my friends plant on her window sill in the village..as I recall four years ago when it went in there mentioning to her it had no drainage..she had been growing things with success in square glass containers..so she thought it would be ok. It's small as is the cactus after all these years.. It really gets little direct rain inside the window sill and she waters it accordingly..

I was asking about the drainage hole because at least 50% of my plants including succulents and cactus are grown without drainage. I know, I know everyone scream with shock but my response is plants in the ground do not have an invisible hole in the bottom of the ground.

But it is my success. I do not water plants in doors for the winter. The cactus and succulents may get a sip once a month if I have the time. When they are outside I just tip the pots if we get a lot of rain and they seem to love it. I can find such pretty pots when I do not have to worry about drain holes. Rolling on the floor laughing
