Looks like a bloom spike to me. Suggest switching to bloom booster fertilizer if you have not already. You may want to go to the AOS site and look for "The Orchid Clock." It is a good article and tool to help track the various growth cycles of you orchid and to know which fertilizer to use for maximum growth on bloom production.
