My backyard birds have disappeared for some reason ... maybe they are vacationing somewhere cooler since we've had temp's in the mid and upper 90ยบ lately. I filled the feeders and they stayed untouched for two days, until last night when I heard something outside the window and spotted Raccoons feasting. I did spot a Northern Mockingbird in a tree yesterday afternoon but only for a brief minute and then it was gone:
