The ones at Garland's may be poor examples, in fact all of them are ones people passed over. I say this because there were so few and it is getting toward the end of the season and the best of the pots will have been sold by now.

When I was pawing over the three Thunderheads that were left, one had one stem and two had three stems. Can you guess which one I didn't buy? It would be the one that would give subsequent shoppers a poorer opinion of it. Sorry but if I am there first I pick the best for me! I did note the shiny leaves but the stems were somewhat flopped over to the point I couldn't tell which way a mature one might grow.
