My Sago palm is putting out fronds from the soil. Upon close look, I see what looks like the bulbous shape of a new palm that the frond is growing out of that is growing off the side of my palm at soul level. I took a sharp knife and removed it and potted it out. It looks like a new small Sago. Do these larger plants make small ones? Mine has never done this before. This is a pix of what I think is a baby that I potted up.
