Sorry I didn't reply sooner on the Miracle Gro issue. We were told that it has a lot of salts in it. There's a lot of information out there on this fertilizer. Here's one link.

I did not know that about the link with Scott's and Monsanto and Round Up, which again we're advised not to use. It has atrazine in it which has been linked to Parkinson's disease.
