I spent an hour with a "genius" at the Apple store just now. I updated my IPad Air yesterday to IOS 8 and it looks fine as far as pictures, Apps etc are concerned.
Except - I am not able to use Safari to upload pictures from my IPad to ATP, I can however use ICab Mobile instead which works just fine and uploads pictures in the usual speedy fashion.
I am happy to say that the "genius" now also knows about the browser ICab mobile after my visit Rolling my eyes. and he is now aware that there is a problem with Safari uploading more pictures. As I must have been the first one to report this problem. more Rolling my eyes. Smiling
Uploading pictures to Facebook in Safari also doesn't work any longer from the status bar on your Fb page, but I realized you can post by bringing up your photos, marking them and do a share to Fb.
@Dave, if you saw some strange activity from me on ATP, that was us testing different settings. The technician noticed that using Safari to upload a picture - the address bar does not go through the refresh as ICab Mobile does. He thought maybe the https/secure setting might be the culprit and there is some problem as how Safari responds to this.
Whatever, perhaps there will be an Apple update in the near future to address this, I cannot possibly be the only one reporting this. Obviously!!
