But
@zencat has that shot of the hummingbird that looks REALLY right.
And Marvel of Peru (Mirabilis jalapa) says zone 7!!!!
This plant came up on a northeast facing wall of a house on a north facing hill!!
I'll leave the question open to others until I'm sure.
