I grow a couple of Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen):

We do have windows but they have that film to keep the heat out and it sure blocks most of the natural light, making the house quite dark. Two of my Aglaonema plants have been sitting in a dark corners for many months without any issues.
Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) will tolerate low light situations:

Any indoor plant will appreciate being moved outside at some point for a bit of fresh air and perhaps a flush with a garden hose. Maybe in spring they could be taken home for a weekend getaway.
