I agree When I muck our ponds and water features, I try to save as much fauna (snails, larva, and eggs) as possible. When we find egg masses from our tree frogs floating in our swimming pool (we use minimum chemicals) we try to rescue them to a pond. We also try to control slugs with means other than cleaning and chemicals, unless you consider beer a chemical. Rolling on the floor laughing
